Critter Sensor : random activation

Critter sensor are working very badly, especially when they have short time to interact. In this example, the Critter Sensor is set to 0, so it should become active since a critter walks below. But, simply, it does become active when it decides... Doors are supposed to close behind the hatch, along his walk, but the hatch can take 1 or 2 round trip before sensor decides to turn active as it should.

Steps to Reproduce
Reproduce the simple setup above. The hatch is spawned at the right. He's walking to the left, to the hole.
