A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I think if you follow the steps in the troubleshooting guide, that should fix your problem. Specifically this part:

RivaTuner / MSI Afterburner - If your system is displaying a black screen when trying to launch Oxygen Not Included, check to see if RivaTuner Statistics server or MSI Afterburner is running in the background. If so, close down the program as some users have encountered these software causing conflicts with the game.

Unfortunately nothing in the troubleshooting guide helped. Also, I don't have any of these programs installed.

The error in your log file usually means the game is having trouble with some software that's injected in between the game and DirectX. If it's not RivaTuner/MSI Afterburner, then it might be some other 3rd party program you have installed? You might also try updating your graphics drivers to see if that helps.

Ok, found out it was the Steam Link that was causing trouble. Disable it works fine for me.
