Can you please check to see if there is an output_log.txt and .dmp file available:

I got the same error. I was playing it without any errors a few past months, but now If I try to load by steam i don't even get the flash modal pop-up. If I start by the '.exe' inside steam folder i get the modal.

I am sending the log and dxDiag.

As we try to track down these issues, do you know if you have any programs or drivers installed that might be interacting with your graphics drivers in ways that might interfere with the game on startup?

Known examples of software that can cause this kind of issues with various games include Citrix Workspace, and amBX gaming light drivers.

Same error here: Game crashed when i started the game from steam.

After deleting Citrix Workspace the game booted without crash.
