Filing bug report at request of kleicheerio in steam discussion post under the same title and following content:
The game ran fine before the update. But after cosmic update, my game crashed as soon as water was pumped through liquid pipe. I started second colony to see if that would have better luck. But it has the same problem. The game shuts down as soon as water goes through liquid pump.
Is anybody having the same issue?
Steps to Reproduce
From the save file if you let the dupe build the water vent(connected with water sieve, above terrarium, on the lower left of the colony); therefore, get the water pumping, the game crashes in my computer.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
