Black hole bug again

After my PC froze from starting ONI I can't play it anymore.

First I validated the game files, then I uninstalled and installed again but the game still doesn't work.

Every start produces this black hole message and a JsonReaderException.

Can anyone here help?

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Looks like a couple files got into a bad state after the game froze. Try deleting these files. 

  • D:\0_Uwe\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\kplayerprefs.yaml
  • D:\0_Uwe\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\inventory_cache\76561198007028786.json (might have a different name)

Thx for the fast reply.

Deleting kplayerprefs did not lead to anything but deleting the .json file enabled me to start ONI again.

PS: There was no folder called inventory_cache in any form or shape, but I found the json file in KleiItemData
