Bionics dupes suffocate while consuming an oxygen cannister

I have met exactly the same issue. The bionic duplicant tries to pick up an oxygen canister repeatedly, but keeps failing and causes a repeated animation. They repeat this action until they run out of oxygen, drop the canister and tries to obsorb the oxygen from the air. 

That's a bit different. This dupe only did that a bit before they started consuming the oxygen from the cannisters. But they were "holding their breathe" and suffocated while consuming oxygen from a cannister
