There have been a few discussions about trouble getting duplicants to use the apothecary. This is caused by a reasonable assumption that apothecaries use supply as the work priority. I did a test and found that they instead supply if they are allowed to do the storage job.
So, if the dupes are not allowed to store and are allowed to supply, they will never deliver coal or balm lily to the apothecary. If they are allowed to do storage tasks but not supply tasks, they will deliver balm lily and coal to the apothecary.
Steps to Reproduce
In an empty colony with dupes, balm lily flowers, coal, and an apothecary, set all dupes to not do storage and order vitamin chews. Observe that they do nothing. Enable storage and observe that they do things
