New duplicants have traits like "Can't Build," "Can't Dig", "Can't Cook", "Can't Research" however they have the corresponding skill for it, such as +8 Construction, +11 Digging, and so on. In my opinion it shouldn't happen that they spawn with a specialization but the inability to perform that. It's pointless.
