While playing the game I realized that none of my Duplicants had the cooking skill when I got the opportunity to roll a new one and none of my Duplicants leveled up in cooking skill. I played 50+ cycles and had 10 Duplicants and every single one had a cooking skill of 0.
None of my Duplicants were Gastrophobes, because I wanted to make sure that they could all cook. They did cook, but never leveled up.
Thanks for the attention. I'm having a ball playing the game I'm already 13 hours in!

Steps to Reproduce
I played the game normally. When I first picked my Duplicants I made sure they didn't have the Gastrophobe trait, but didn't really pay attention to anything else. After a while I realized none of the roles were appearing with the cooking skill. I tried to make sure specific Dups cooked, but they never leveled up. I wish I could be more specific.
