If Mechanized Airlock have access to electrical network, it will use energy while being open, even if it had been disabled, unlike other machines.
The only way to prevent it from constantly draining energy is to deconstruct powering wire. It does not seem right.

Build an Mechanized Airlock, hook it to power grid, disable it, then put it into "Opened" state.
