When Wheeler equips a Backpack, the inventories of both the Navigator and Pew-Matic items open up above the hand slot, regardless of whether or not you have them equipped. Attempting to interact with these inventories at all without having the item equipped, or even in your inventory at all, has very high chances of crashing the game.

As Wheeler, equip a Backpack or other body-slot item with an inventory.
