Wagstaff's infroggles unintended effect ?

Dechou
  • Version: PC/MAC/Linux Fixed

I was testing the infroggles in the ROG caves, because I wanted to see how it interacts with nightmare creatures and clockworks in the dark.

Turns out... There is no infrared effect in the caves, the caves lighten entirely without any visual effect, exactly like the surface world during the day. This seems... extremely powerful, was is done on purpose ?

Anyway, the expected effect would seem a bit underpowered to me for ruin spelunking, every nightmare and clockwork would just appear dim blue, and moggles are pretty much unusable because of nearsight. So is the lantern the expected way for him to deal with spelunking effectively ?

Steps to Reproduce
Go in ROG caves and equip infroggles.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

This was a bug. The infroggles should work as in the overworld, and they do in the next update.
