BFB tried to catch me and now i cant move

The same bug too. The bird appeared on Day 36. I've restarted game many times, but it didn't resolve. 

I have the exact same problem. Mine happened on day 36 as well, my character(Warbucks) was frozen as soon as the bird’s head appears. I tried to restart the game and disabling all mods but didn’t help. The bird was stumping around and stopped moving again, left me with that death stare.

I has the same problem one time. In next game he take me correctly.

Just happened to me too. 

Hope that we can find a fix, I´ll leave my game save there for now ^^

 

Edit: Guys just found a workaround, posted in a similar thread by @Zillvr. Steps are:

• Move cursor into safe spot on screen
• Open console with tilde sign "~"
• Type c_move(GetPlayer()) 
• Press Enter
• Once moved, save and exit
• Return to save game
• BFB will proceed to take you away

You might need to change the console keybind (mine was on `).

@Gaelo ~ and ` are on the same key, but ~ is more noticeable compared to `. Since ` looks so much closer to an '. Hence it's more commonly called the tilde ~ key for console. (Granted, you need to press Shift to make the ~, but you don't need to when you press the key to open the console).

This happened to me today! It hasn't happened since but they won't pick me up either (though the game hasn't frozen again since that one time).

@Captain Wickerbottom next time it happens, where you get stuck under BFB:

• Go save and exit
• Go to Options
• Click Report Bug
• For Description Write: "Stuck under BFB in World Save #"
• Submit

Do that before doing work around, the devs need more info on the issue.

I was in trouble yesterday as I encountered similar phenomena.

I found out how to avoid it by reading here, so I will try it.

I'll also try submitting a report if the same phenomenon occurs next time.
