Both are affected by bug b'gone, so it would only make sense for rabid beetles to die when entering the toxic rainforest.
Steps to Reproduce
Enter the toxic rainforest with gnats, watch them die. Enter it with rabid beetles chasing you however, and they'll inexplicably live.
