Puddles still spawning outside of Monsoon Season

I've been having this issue for a while now. I spent my entire Dry Season on the volcano before it started, exited it during Mild Season, and the pre-existing puddles in my base are still there and expanding. It's rather annoying, as one puddle is right next to my alchemy engine. I may have to wait until the next Dry Season or use console commands to initiate it just to kill off the spawners.

Steps to Reproduce

Exit the main cell of SW in Monsoon, enter it during Mild, puddles don't despawn.

Confirming that this issue still exists, and has been since 2019:

All DLCs enabled, and have world hopped between all three worlds.
