Joy of Volcanology can be used in other DLCs but the Volcano Staff cannot

    • DLC VERSION - IMPORTANT!: Vanilla - NO DLC, Reign of Giants, Shipwrecked, Hamlet Pending

Wickerbottom can use her book "Joy of Volcanology" in other DLCs allowing her to summon meteors wherever she wants, however if you try to use the Volcano Staff, an item with almost identical functionality, in a different DLC than shipwrecked, the character will note "It cannot be used here" (Both summon meteors so both should be denied in other worlds is my guess)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use Joy of Volcanology in RoG or HAM

2. Notice how you can't use the Volcano Staff in RoG or HAM

My headcannon is that joy of volcanology uses shadow magic to spawn them while the volcano staff channels the power of the volcano itself
