It is not possible to create traps in the ns version.

When creating a trap in the ns version, the game displays an error.

 

This makes you unable to catch rabbits to create the level 1 magic machine.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to create a trap and you will see that the game will display an error.

Mine is also crashing on the Switch whenever I pick up an existing trap.  Just started recently.

I confirmed that this traps bug is fixed in the Switch edition’s recent update 1.0.9.
