Helmets lose durability when vortex cloak is equipped

That's just how armor stacking works. The damage (just so happens in this case) got reduced by the Football Helmet, and then the Vortex Cloak (which also prevented you from taking damage entirely.) You'll notice you lose more durability when the Helmet is not equipped, that's normal.

(As for deciding which armor takes priority, which reduces damage before the other, that's always been tricky. It always feels inconsistent during actual gameplay, even if you can verify a specific pattern in testing. If memory recalls, the first armor you equip is the one that reduces damage first, but when you start unequipping / re-equipping / equipping different armor, things get messy.)

I know it. That's why I took off the helmet. But it isn't indended. When you load your save it works how it should: vortex cloak takes all the damage, helmets don't lose durability. And it was like this before vortex cloak stats were changed.
