yes I am on newest steam version

yes, the game is updated

yes I updated nvidia, motherboard, and cpu drivers

yes, DST is added to firewall

yes, I uninstalled norton and restarted PC

yes, I bought win11 home license

yes, I also made DST 32 and 64 _steam.exe to run as administrator

why is this so hard

other games like Rust I just connected to a server no problem

can I mention I also can't see ping and ALL my skins and settings reset in the new PC? why are those not saved by steam cloud?

so many problems holy

but biggest problem right now, I cannot connect to ANY servers

Steps to Reproduce

new win11 steam dst cant connect to servers

User Feedback

I am still having this issue

It says connecting forever

anything I can do, I literally cannot play DST anymore after 3000 hours

more updates: I can host my own world, but I cannot join other worlds and public servers, which is the main way I play with friends

forgot to mention, but I was never using any client or server mods for these tests, this is fresh install

another test: testing with my girlfriends PC, we are in the same room and she is hosting, I will try to join on her

UPDATE: it works if I join my girlfriend PC which is local, but not any public pub!!

UPDATE2: I tried joining on a random player on his non-dedicated server and it WORKED. That means all DEDICATED servers do not work, I cannot connect to them.

Tested both 32 and 64 bit game clients.

new finding, I managed to connect to a public server after waiting for like 10 minutes of retried connections

new symptom: if I open containers like chests there is like a 20% chance my game freezes completely, waiting to get the contents of the chest probably from the network

so my game client is riddled with connectivity issues

I am on a win11 desktop PC using the same cable as my old win10 pc, but I have a slew of issues related to networking, mainly in DST

Alright, I have isolated the issue

it's some issue on my Ethernet port

If I use an adaptor Ethernet -> USB-TypeC all the issues go away

Found the real issue:

Gigabyte speed was default installed on my fresh Windows 11 PC

UNINSTALLING Gigabyte speed fixes everything, I don't know what it is, but the guys at my PC support told me this trash causes it
