[Wilson] Insight points not synced across devices

I have a cloud saved world being played between a PC and Steam Deck. I played 3 days on one device, then 5 more on another - receiving my first insight point at 8 days (instead of 5). I then played 5 more days on the original device and got another insight point - except i didn't have the original insight point spent.

 

Both devices are counting their own timer and giving their own points with no syncing across the cloud.


Steps to Reproduce

Create a single cloud saved world. Play as Wilson. Switch between 2 different devices and observe insight points.

Yeah but they probably should be account level and not device level

The saving mechanism for allocation was done in a way that the local cache has authority when joining a server that has old data and the experience points themselves are shared and updated across all servers. It was done to stop the case of a player logging off of a server and respec to rejoin and have an updated tree. This will lead to a case where you could have multiple skill tree configurations across multiple servers as a side effect.
