Wagstaff takes significantly longer to leave even after the crown shard is given

Pretty self explanatory. Normally, Wagstaff leaves a few seconds after taking the essence from the champion, but now takes upwards of 2 minutes. I understand this for before giving the crown shard, but afterwards it prevents you from mining the champ until 2 minutes elapse.

Steps to Reproduce

Kill champ after giving him a crown shard. Notice how it takes him significantly longer to leave, despite not doing anything unique after starting the rifts.
