Up/Down not working, I'm stuck on walking only sideways

Please help! I just went to continue my solo world and then suddenly I cannot move up or down using the WASD controls.

Clicking the mouse button is such a pain so I only use the mouse for clicking on things, and then now I'm stuck on walking only sideways.

Steps to Reproduce

Here is the list of the stuff I tried doing to find a solution:

  • Restarted Steam then DST then continued on my world
  • Restarted DST then continued on my world
  • Restarted my PC and opened DST on Steam
  • Plugged and unplugged my keyboard upon restarting and while playing 
  • Tested all the keys especially WASD (apparently I'm not typing gibberish right now)
  • Changed U/D/L/R controls from WASD to TFGH on Settings then continued on my world

All of these things I already tried but nothing worked.

I can't find any .mdmp file mentioned in the instructions, but please see the client log and the diagnostic tool notes below.

Had this exact problem all of a sudden but I'm good now. Try main menu > Options > Controls > Reset Binds then Apply

We are looking into this issue. Could you please try resetting your key binds in the settings' controls tab? This should fix your issue. If not, please let us know.
