Unable to place down incomplete experiment

I am unable to place down the incomplete experiment over the mysterious energy. Not sure if its due to the hot spring but if it is then it is impossible for me to spawn in the celestial champion due to the indestructible nature of both the celestial monuments and the hot spring.

Steps to Reproduce

Place the 3 celestial monuments around a hot spring.

Go to bugs

I was also unable to place the incomplete experiment, I believe due to the altar pieces themselves being too close together so that the experiment overlapped with them.

Not being able to move the altar pieces is a big problem when you don't know you need this space ahead of time. My friends and I actually spawned in the altar pieces again and built them in a spot where the experiment would be unobstructed, and that worked, but it was a big hassle.
