When on the trade-inn screen you can softlock the game by clicking Back and then very quickly clicking on one of the birds to play a minigame.
If fast enough, instead of being returned to the item collection screen, you will instead be sent to the trade-inn, as though you had clicked Back while on the minigame screen.
This causes the Back option to become unclickable and the trader to become invisible until a dialogue is triggered, upon which he will play his talk animation on loop with no sound effects playing or text appearing.
Note that if the bird is not clicked quite fast enough you simply return to the item collection screen with no issues.
Steps to Reproduce
- Exit the Trade-Inn menu screen,
- Swiftly click one of the birds to try starting a minigame,
- If done fast enough, you will be softlocked on the Trade-Inn screen
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
