tentacles disappearing

I was trying to find a way for hounds and, i ve wormhole near by base. I spawned some tentacle other side of wormhole and covered with chesspieces and then when i use wormhole again all tentacles disapeared. idk if its normal but can someone explain or fix this?

Steps to Reproduce

-broken grass walls on floor 
-reading books for tentacles
-using wormhole
-all tentacles gone and no drop

This is actually intended.

When Wormholes are used Tentacles close enough to the wormhole will be deleted.

 

It does suck quite a bit though, maybe this could be changed :V
