Tamed Beefalo still beg for food when you're carrying a heavy object

I swear I saw that this bug got fixed a while back, but either my memory is wrong or the bug has returned, as the issue still occurs.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Obtain a tamed beefalo

2) Carry a heavy object like a marble piece or statue near it
