so basically smallbirds that have been hatched from a Tallbird Egg , when u restart the game your pet * smallbird or smallish tallbird * stops chasing you and it dont guard u anymore , that can happen when you resurrect too . :steamfacepalm:

Yup same issue here.

They don't even move from the spot they are left behind when this bug happens (ok they move a little only when there is food nearby to peck at)

This can be also caused by entering and exiting the caves.

Sometimes it works properly even after conditions for the bug have met

but most of the times it bugs out like this.
