Since we moved, Grandma Pearl has completely stopped eating.
She only harvests berries.
She used to eat kelp, but in today's episode she only harvested kelp.
From her behavior, I think her inventory is full of rotten berries.

Is this by design?
Is she on a diet?
Has the stress of moving stopped her from eating?

We will share Pearl's condition here using the broadcast digest function.
We'd appreciate it if you could check it out.

Steps to Reproduce

- Give Wagstaff's map to Pearl and have her move.
- Then have Pearl move off Monkey Island.

After the move, I took the following actions:
- Place a Bright Shade on the opposite side of the new location.
- Plant berries.
- Place a table and chairs.

- Plant 10 flowers.
(This was something I couldn't achieve on the previous Pearl Island.)

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Poor Pearl. I imagine how much stress and pain it is for her to have her beloved cosy private island to be forever ruined and her house and drying racks be crammed into a tiny space with barely any room to walk around. Not to mention that she lost her beautiful panoramic ocean view, berry garden, and fancy furniture too. I would stop eating too.

it is literally healthy for her, it is a major step in her moving on from the crab king. that island was a tether to her past that she has finally broken free of
