At seemingly random points, dropping items by shift rightclicking them in the inventory results in them falling to the ground from above the player.
This occurs with all the items I have tested and also happens in offline worlds (so presumably not lag). Using the mouse to drop things does not lead to this behavior.
I'm assuming it has nothing to do with the location of the dropping, as dropping it at the same location again does not cause it to happen again.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Start new world
2. Get any item
3. Drop it a few times with shift+right click
4. Watch as laws of physics are ignored
