Hello @Dynmap, welcome to the forums. Running out of memory? I hope you double checked whether or not your PC can handle the game. Here's the requirements for DST: Don't Starve Together System Requirements. If you feel like your PC is up to the task. Please attach the following file in your next reply:

DxDiag

  • Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to access the "Run" window
  • On the Run window, type in dxdiag.exe and press enter; this will open up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool
  • Click on the "Save All Information" tab on the diagnostic tool
  • A "Save As..." window will pop up where you can click on save. It will save your hardware information as a document to your desktop (default).
  • Close the diagnostic tool and attach the new document to your post.

Then, in the mean time try the methods in this Klei Support Article: Klei Support Article: DST Is Crashing / DST Won't Start.

Lastly, based on the log, you get disconnected due to the following line:

"SERVER_MODS_WORKSHOP_VERSION_MISMATCH", which means the mods that the server is running are old mods that have newer versions on the steam page, but since every time you join a server with mods, the game automatically downloads every mods necessary for that server. Since it's using old mods, and only the new versions of the mods are available on the steam workshop, hence the version mismatch, which disables you to join that specific server.

If that is true, your options now are as follows:

Ask your friend (whoever the host of that server is) to update their mods OR ask them to send you all the mod files that the server uses so your PC has all the mods that the server needs. If they are able to send you the outdated mod files then head over to Steam\SteamApps\common\Don't Starve Together Beta\mods and paste all the workshop-### mod folders there. Make sure DST is closed before you do this.

Also, you can simply attach your client_log.txt in the comments section below of a bug report. You don't have to add another bug report just to attach in case you forgot to the first time, which I believe what happened. I'll hide the previous duplicate post of yours.

Anyways good luck, cheers.
