REPOST: Chester running away after auto-save on the boat

As the title mentions, Chester tries to run away from the player when his eye bone got picked up on a boat after the world auto-saves at the start of a new day or after the player enters the console command c_save(), which causes inconvenience for those wish to interact with him

P.S. I'm posting this again to get some attention since the original post got ignored and the bug remain unfixed for the Cawnival update


Steps to Reproduce

Step 1. bring the eye bone onto a boat when Chester's alive

Step 2. wait on the boat until the next day when the game auto-saves. You can achieve identical effect by typing the console command c_save()

Step 3. pick up the eye bone, you have to drop the eye bone first to trigger the bug if the eye bone was already in your inventory

Step 4. notice changes on Chester's behavior, he'll start to actively run away from you
