Merms and Merm Guards don't play an animation when they are low on loyalty, unlike their bunnymen and pigmen counterparts.

Steps to Reproduce

Befriend a merm and/or merm guard. Wait a while. See that they don't play a hungry animation to indicate that their loyalty is low.
