Random ban for merging account to steam account

One of my friends were banned right after merging their steam account they tried rsetting, but they just lost everything and were not able to play afterwards. I really hope you guys can fix this bug if you need gmail it's Maresonic1@gmail.com.

Steps to Reproduce

I don't know yet. This is still new and I just wanted to see if you could help. This is my tablet so I don't have any of the files listed below. E-mail me for updates thanks

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Hey all, thank you for reporting the issue you have encountered with us. Unfortunately, we found that a recent update that we did temporarily affected accounts in a weird way, with some looking like they are banned when they are not, or indicating that the user is not able to complete the account merge.

Our dev team is aware of the issue and are working on a fix now, and we hope to have it rolled out as soon as we possibly can. We are sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for your patience while we get this sorted out.

Update: The issue has been fixed and the account merge process can be successfully completed now.  You only need to return to the Klei Account page once more and complete the process for account merging. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and would like to thank you for your patience.
