It seems that joining a server from Steam invites without having the game launched ahead of time will make profile flairs not load, maybe backgrounds too but we haven’t checked that.
Basically a friend of mine always has the Antlion Ornament flair equipped (normally), and we realized that on some days it would be missing for the blank icon instead, and as sessions went we did some testing and it seems that what cause it is the above.
Steps to Reproduce
Be invited to play, join the server without having the game on already.
Your profile (probably) won’t load properly.
