This has been reported a while ago by somebody else, but it's something that bugs me a lot too because I notice any skin or character with long pigtails this bug happens and it's very unimmersive for things like this to happen...
Please Klei fix it please it shouldn't be too hard 
PS: The front animation for all of these animations have a problem too which the hairpigtails snap abruptly instantly changing size and position at the end of the animation, fixing that would be very nice too since after all it's only you guys at Klei who have access to the animations and can fix them

Steps to Reproduce
Play a character or use a skin which has long pigtail symbols
Do the attack/throw/whip animation from the side angle

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
