So everyone including admins in a dedicated server and all clients in a non-dedicated server cannot see pigs' talking when they are receiving item from player.
Steps to Reproduce
Join to a dedicated server or a non dedic server as a client, try to give meat to a pig. Observe that you cannot see his speaking ("what you got?" or "better be good")
