Not my issue directly, but a friend of mine is having it and it hasn't been resolved. We've followed the steps we could find in other bug reports about this issue, and they haven't worked.
Specifically, I've looked through these threads:
They use a macbook air, running "Big Sur" version 11.1, with a retina display in case that matters.
Their game is fully up to date, yet it still doesn't work unfortunately.
Also ran through the basic fixes, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, validating the files via steam, andtrying windowed mode according to a different thread. Would appreciate some help getting this fixed so they can play again.
The screenshot attached is old, from when the issue first happens. The main menu is updated to the new one, but the blank space is still present.
Use a Macbook air.
Open the game.
