Set up a server using DST vice a dedicated server (since Klie changed the whole process) and I changed the forest world preset for biomes to classic instead of together. I really don't like the together preset, with everything checkerboarded throughout the map. However, I've made 3 servers with the classic preset and I CANNOT find a cave. Is this a bug? Caves are all over the place on the together preset, but classic seems to override something.
Yes, the caves checkbox is ticked. I've searched the maps fairly thoroughly (not 100%) and no caves anywhere.
Steps to Reproduce
Run 3 serves with the classic preset, making sure the checkbox was ticked, one server with no mods.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
