New map zoom mechanic - map always opens zoomed out to the maximum

Eh the new mechanic is pretty clunky, and zooming in and out is really slow even with the sensitivity all the way up, the zooming does not stop when i stop scrolling the mouse wheel, it just keeps going. And what makes it worst is that the map always opens zoomed out to the limit and i have to zoom in which takes so long because of the above reasons.

I know that the clunkiness  and slowness is a matter for another topic but at least make it so the map opens on the same level of zoom it was closed previously

Please disable client mods related to minimap usage including ones that add markers and try it again. There are quite a few of them that hook things improperly causing conflicting results.

Disabling mod related to minimap seem to have solved my issue thanks

 The pull request to the minimap mod has been accepted and uploaded to the workshop please update the mod and try it again!
