For some reason to Moonblind Crow and the Misshapen Bird don't drop souls upon being killed. I am pretty sure this is not intentional. However, whenever the Refrained Static is destroyed or is finished by Wagstaff it drops a soul, which is strange. Despite Woodie's beliefs I do believe that birds possess a soul.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Kill one of the two new birds.
2. Get no soul.
3. Either destroy the Refrained Static or let Wagstaff finish it.
4. Get a soul.
