My game update did not fully go through for the cursed confrontation part 1

ReExploring the sanctum to fight the new pillar boss dudes and where the waypoint compass is supposed to spawn its not there, also when i get to the last room (the one with all the statue guards right before where the new boss is supposed to be) the last waypoint still says its under development for an update that will come soon and its still wrapped in the black and yellow construction tape. I would just think maybe the update bugged and didnt go through except some other parts of the update have got through such as being able to throw a rope down the whole to the original  sanctum? What should I do?
