Picked mushrooms regrow after it's rained. However, there are two issues now. One, you don't see that the mushroom has been regrown. Two, you can pick said invisible mushroom at any time rather than at the select times, evident by the pick prompt.
Steps to Reproduce
Pick mushroom (any of them). Make it rain so that it regrows. See that said mushroom is invisible and can be picked whenever you want.
