Moving during an attack forces player to move towards the enemy

This is a small issue that, to my knowledge, has always been in the game, and since many other bugs related to combat have been getting fixed recently I thought it would be a good opportunity to report it.

As it currently stands, beginning to move in any direction (be it with keyboard, mouse click or controller, doesn't matter) while at any point during an attack animation (it can be before or after the attack has landed) will force the player to very briefly move towards the enemy that they're attacking before quickly correcting their trajectory to move towards the original direction they were supposed to.

While very brief (and almost unnoticeable), this can make making small adjustments to your position during a fight feel unnecessarily janky and outright unfair at times. Keep in mind this happens even if you're attacking with a ranged weapon. In fact, technically speaking, the fact that this interaction exists makes every kiting window in the game have 2 less frames of leniency.

I believe fixing this issue would make combat feel more responsive and enjoyable (as well as fair) as a result. As far as I know, this happens regardless of whether caves are enabled or not, but it's definitely more obvious with them disabled.

Here's a video of the issue recorded at 0.25 game speed, which makes it incredibly obvious.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start an attack animation
2. Move in any direction, via any input method
3. Notice how your character very briefly moves towards the enemy you're attacking before quickly correcting their direction

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

While I haven't looked at the rowing issues specifically, the fix does affect using movement to interrupt any state, not just attacking.
