Sometimes, when you are approaching moon altar (with a moon staff or star staff I guess?), the nearby Pig suspicious moonrocks may break. A hound will spawn from it, then turn into hound suspicious moonrock.
I saw this in 2 different official servers so I am pretty sure it is a glitch, but I don't know how it happened.
