Maybe it's intended, but Wurt does not take damage from kelp and durian while the merms, including merm king, will take damage if they eat raw kelp and durian. I thought kelp and durians were a merm favorite, but it only really applies to Wurt.

give merms raw kelp or durian, and notice hp loss with a mod or something.
