Maxwell's idle issues

-Variant
  • Pending

Maxwell's idle animation has a very curious squat towards the end of it.
This has been irking my friends and I, I've compared it to many other idles or similar animations and none seem to share this.

I imagine this squat was put in place to grab the dropped equipped item during the animation, but in other animations like it, the item usually gravitates towards the character's hand as to not interrupt the flow of the anim itself.
Example: Slowclap.

The squat seems really out of place here, I feel this could be improved by referencing other animations (Such as /slowclap) and smoothing the anim to exclude the squat entirely.

Below is a hasty/rough edit to exclude the squat without interrupting the flow of the anim. Not perfect, but hopefully gets the idea cross. (Equipped items ought to gravitate towards the hand, akin to the slowclap anim.)

Steps to Reproduce

Play Maxwell's default idles, compare them to many other idles and emote animations, notice the awkward squat.

Compare the idles to other anims, see above.

he's hiding the card up his pant leg!

If that's what the squat is for, I think it could be touched up! I couldn't really tell, looked like he was just hiding it under his foot.

It could also not appear in the default one without the card then if that's the intention, it's very jarring.
