Masts used to have a sinking effect when the boat they are on is destroyed.
However, now they just spawn the generic structure destroyed fx as if the game interprets it as being on land.
This is because the boat the mast is tied to is removed before the function necessary for determining and spawning the effects(OnRemoveEntity) is removed. Thus the game always interprets the mast as not having been on a boat when spawning the effect.
1. Place a mast on a boat
2. Destroy boat
3. Notice there's no sinking effect
