If you jump through a wormhole while you have lightbugs orbiting you, the lightbug teleport with you, but they immediately fly away (really fast) to parts unknown. I think they might be going towards the origin, but I'm not entirely sure. They also seem to actively avoid the player when they do this, even if you have a lightbug in your inventory.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Get some lightbugs to orbit you.
2. Jump through wormhole.
