Klei won't connect with steam

Every time I try to play online, it tells me to create an account even though I already have it (this one)

I've had issues while making it though, for the past couple of days the ''registering...'' button was just not working until recently.

If it helps, i'm running on windows vista and have restarted my computer numerous times

Steps to Reproduce
- Opened the Game - Play - Create account option pops up
Go to bugs

Are you trying to access the account registration site on a private/home internet or while using a public computer or ISP, such as at a PC cafe, public library, school or work?

Also do you happen to be using a VPN when trying to create the account?

If using a VPN, please try temporarily disabling the VPN when trying to register your account to see if that resolves the issue.

If not using a VPN, try using a different web browser (ie: EDGE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox) in case the browser you are currently using is having trouble, or is incompatible with our registration site.
