There are two parts to this bug.
1) Pigmen can eat Jellybeans. However, they won't actually regenerate health from said Jellybeans. (A Health Info mod was used to test this). Rather minor detail, but factors into part two of this bug report.
2) Jellybeans have the tag "honeyed".
Bearger attacks players that have items in their inventory with the tag "honeyed".
If you drop said Jellybean, Bearger won't eat it. Instead, he will continue his attacking you. Had this been another honeyed item, such as honey, had you dropped said honey onto the floor, Bearger will go eat the honey and leave you alone afterwords.
If Bearger were made to eat said Jellybean, part 1 of this bug report would also be of concern if he doesn't heal from it.
Get chased by Bearger b/c you had Jellybeans on you. Drop said Jellybeans. He doesn't eat it and Bearger still wants to kill you. Spawn a pig. Beat up the pig a little bit (have a Health Info mod enabled). Drop a Jellybean on the floor. See that the Pig doesn't regenerate health. If Bearger is made to eat Jellybeans, health restoration would also be of concern.
